ACADEMICS
As sisters, we strive to push one another toward academic excellence. We are all working toward one common goal: becoming educated future leaders of the world. Sigma Omega Nu facilitates this goal through organized events such as weekly study hours, professional development workshops, the Alpha Order Academic Honor Society, National SON Scholarships, National Conferences, and much more.
CULTURA
Sigma Omega Nu believes in cultivating resilient womxn through cultural awareness. Sunnies take pride in not only learning about our individual cultures but taking the initiative to experience and learn about other cultures as well. We accomplish this through cultural presentations, events, activities, and campus involvement. Our sorority is committed to recruiting womxn of ALL backgrounds and encompassing a welcoming multicultural environment.
SISTERHOOD
While academic excellence is the primary objective of Sigma Omega NU, sisterhood is where the magic happens. Most Sunnies start off as complete strangers and quickly become a tightknit circle of lifelong friends. Sunnie sisters are located throughout California and Nevada. We stay connected via social gatherings, mass group chats, fundraising events, road trips, national events, Bigs and Littles, and much more.
